Shaping Alaska’s Climate Policy: A Conversation with Lt. Governor Byron Mallott

The Arctic Encounter was thrilled to support the Wilson Center's Polar Initiative in May of 2018. Dr. Mike Sfraga and his team at the Polar Initiative organized and hosted a climate policy dialogue and debate with The Honorable Byron Mallott, Lieutenant Governor of Alaska, on May 15, 2018 at the Wilson Center in Washington, D.C.  The Arctic Encounter and the Wilson Center formed a strategic partnership in March of 2018 to work together to raise Arctic awareness in the U.S. and abroad through policy initiatives, convening efforts, and strategic communications.
